We just spent the weekend at InterContinental Mina Al Arab Resort and Spa, located on Hyat Island in Ras Al Khaimah and it was fab!

The hotel only opened this year in April. So we were really excited to check it out! Here is all you need to know;

We booked a classic sea view room and were upgraded to a deluxe sea view, the room was a good size with room for an extra bed, although the wardrobe area was a bit small.

Suites and villas rooms are also available.

The resort is home to six culinary outlets. We had dinner in Levant & Nar which is a Turkish restaurant with stunning 360-degree sea views & a perfect place to enjoy al fresco dining alongside a fire pit. The food was great and they also cater a children's menu.

We had breakfast in the main restaurant Saffar which offers buffet and also a la carte and the decor is just stunning!

Other restaurant's

NoHo, is a trendy hangout inspired by the artistic streets of New York, perfect for sharing platters, enjoying the latest in mixology and late-night entertainment.

The poolside ShaSha bar serves alfresco bites, frozen cocktails and sweeping ocean views, and is the perfect place to relax with shisha and take a front seat to nature’s spectacular sunset show. The location for cinema under the stars, sunrise yoga and salsa, ShaSha is a buzzing hub of entertainment.

The resort has 3 separate pools, including a great sized infinity pool, club members pool and a decent size children’s pool too with shade.

You can also hire bikes and go for a wander outside.

There is a spa, a gym and a kids and teens club! The kids club was great and it has an outdoor park area too, which we didn't get to check out as it was to hot but ideal for the cooler months.

I always rate a good hotel on a few different things and one of them is free water, it’s drives me mad having to pay crazy prices for water throughout the day at the pool.

We loved this hotel, definitely one of our new favourite staycations, we will stay again for sure!
