We recently stayed at Centara Mirage beach Resort Dubai, located on Deira Islands.

It’s a fairly new hotel only opening in Oct 2021, so it’s still very fresh and clean - but  it was super busy & crowded!
Personally I don’t feel like the pool and activities areas are big enough for the size of the hotel, so it just felt hectic, whereas the beach is quite an extensive area, they could have built further out.

There are ques for everything, including the lifts, although we did our best to avoid queuing for restaurants, we had lunch in Suan Bua and dinner & breakfast in Sands beach club which is a nice restaurant on the beach and slightly less busy.

We stayed in a superior panoramic sea view room on an all inclusive rate, the room was nice and the food & drink was good but nothing spectacular.

It is very much a family hotel, it’s great for kids and has pretty much everything your kids will love including a toddler pool & park, family pool, Camp Safari kid’s club, a high rise rope climb course, water slides, splash pad, lazy river, a rock jump (3 meters), I did spy an adults pool too.

On the beach there is a huge bouncy castle and an inflatable water course.

Overall - it was an ‘ok’ staycation, great facilities for kids, it wasn’t quite my cup of tea as it was far too busy and congested for my liking, I didn’t like the fact there were no sun beds available at the pool, however if you’re not bothered by that, there is plenty of room on the beach.
