We’ve stayed in a few Jumeirah properties before but it was our first time to stay in Dar Al Masyaf and it did not disappoint!

Dar Al Masyaf is made up of villa clusters, some overlooking, the lagoon, pool or oceanfront. We stayed in an oceanfront summer house, which was a free upgrade from Jumeirah as we were celebrating our anniversary.

Room offers usually included, butler service, complimentary daily aperitifs served with a selection of canapés, unlimited access to Wild Wadi water park (check what offers are on, via ( Jumeirah website).

A big question I had, was where do you actually check in? - Dar Al Masyaf doesn’t have its own hotel entrance so to speak but check in is done through Al Qsar hotel in a private area including refreshments. We were then taken in a buggy to our villa.

The resort is huge and comprises of small personal pools dotted around each villa cluster aswell as access to Al Qsar’s main pool which is huge! If you’re travelling with children, you also get access to the kids club at Al Qsar.

Moving around the resort, you can walk, take a buggy or take an Abra ride around the water ways which is great way to relax and see the resort.

There are over 85 restaurants and bars across the Jumeirah hotels in Dubai and you can experience at a lot of them if you select half board or full board which is great option rather than being stuck with one buffet restaurant every day. (t&c’s apply, check before booking where you can dine)

We ate at Pai Thai for dinner which was lovely if you like Thai food.

We had breakfast in French Rivera restaurant but also had the option of using the main restaurant also.

We didn’t get a chance to check out the award winning Talise spa on this occasion but there is a spa on site if you fancy a bit of pampering.

I loved the attention to detail, down to the service and staff attitude, everything was outstanding, we can’t wait to stay here again!
